The short version

Every tool on Mavis Tools runs in your browser. Text you type, numbers you enter, and files you open (images, PDFs, audio from the mic test) are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. We do not have accounts, and we do not sell personal information.

What stays on your device

Some tools save preferences or your own inputs in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time, for example the light or dark theme, whether you dismissed the cookie notice, a debt list, or click-test history. This data never leaves your device, and you can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads through Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Server logs

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not combine this with tool inputs, which never reach the server.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU/UK (GDPR), you may have the right to know, access, delete, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not collect tool inputs or run accounts, most requests are handled by the controls above. For anything else, email us.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
